Lotus Fire

Some of these were done while working as a 70mm projectionist, many long days alone in a multiplex booth, a time of loneliness & disconnection. Coloring these mandalas was a vital escape from the tense monotony of the job. Later, I realized that with the proper mindset, any  ordeal in life can be a chance to kindle one's creative fire, & emerge from the darkness with dazzling new diamonds.
